Privacy Policy

Control+ is provided and operated by FlowMind Technology Inc (“FlowMind,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). FlowMind Technology Inc is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. We use a data-minimization approach and process information only as needed to provide exposure assessment, removal, monitoring, account, support, and subscription services.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to the Control+ website, questionnaire, exposure assessment, personal-data monitoring and removal services, subscription checkout, customer support, and related pages or communications that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Service”). Third-party websites and services are governed by their own privacy policies.

2. Information We Process

2.1 Information you provide

• Questionnaire responses, including age range, protection priorities, devices, online habits, and risk-related preferences.
• Identity and contact details you choose to provide so we can search for exposed information, submit removal or opt-out requests, monitor results, and communicate with you.
• Account, support, and communication information, including requests, feedback, and correspondence.
• Information needed to verify that a removal request relates to you. Please do not provide information that is not reasonably necessary for the requested service.

2.2 Information collected when you use the Service

We may process basic technical information such as browser type, device type, language, approximate region derived from IP address, page and session state, timestamps, security logs, and referring or campaign parameters present in the URL. We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and deliver the Service.

2.3 Exposure and removal information

At your direction, the Service may search publicly available websites, data-broker listings, people-search services, and other lawful sources for information that appears to relate to you. We may process source URLs, listing details, matching signals, request status, correspondence with a source, and evidence needed to submit or track a removal request. Search results can be incomplete, outdated, or associated with another person.

2.4 Payments and subscriptions

Payment and recurring-consent information is processed by Airwallex and the payment methods available through its checkout interface. FlowMind Technology Inc receives transaction identifiers, plan and price information, payment and subscription status, and limited billing information needed for records and support. We do not directly receive or store full card numbers or card security codes.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide and personalize the questionnaire, exposure assessment, monitoring, removal, and opt-out services.
• Match information to likely public listings and track removal progress.
• Create and manage subscriptions, confirm payment status, and provide customer support.
• Authenticate requests, maintain security, prevent fraud or abuse, and diagnose technical problems.
• Comply with law, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect users, FlowMind Technology Inc, and others.
• Improve the Service using aggregated or de-identified information where reasonably possible.

4. Legal Bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, but this does not affect processing already completed.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:

• Airwallex and participating payment providers for checkout, recurring payments, fraud prevention, refunds, and payment support.
• Data brokers, people-search sites, public-record services, and their service providers when you ask us to submit or manage an opt-out or removal request.
• Hosting, security, communications, customer-support, and technical service providers acting for FlowMind Technology Inc under appropriate obligations.
• Authorities, courts, advisers, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
• A successor in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the business, subject to applicable law.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use essential browser storage, cookies, and session technologies to preserve questionnaire progress, remember selections, secure checkout, prevent abuse, and maintain payment or subscription state. Control+ does not currently use cross-site advertising trackers. If our use of non-essential analytics or advertising technologies changes, we will update this Policy and request consent where required.

7. Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including providing active monitoring and removal services, maintaining transaction and tax records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and meeting legal obligations. Questionnaire information may be retained with your service profile. Removal records are retained while requests are active and afterward as reasonably necessary to document completion. Browser session data may be deleted sooner. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer required, subject to backup cycles and legal holds.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent or appeal a decision. You may also request information about categories of information and disclosures. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You can stop future subscription charges using the cancellation method shown during checkout or in your subscription instructions.

Some information may remain visible at its original public source even after it is removed from our systems. FlowMind Technology Inc cannot delete records controlled by third parties except by submitting requests those parties choose or are legally required to honor.

9. Security and International Processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No service, device, storage system, or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. The Service and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, FlowMind Technology Inc uses legally recognized transfer mechanisms and safeguards.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. We do not knowingly request personal information from a child without legally valid authorization. If we learn that a child's information was provided improperly, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Third-party sources, payment services, and external links operate under their own terms. Airwallex's processing is described in its own privacy notice. FlowMind Technology Inc is not responsible for independent processing controlled by those third parties, although we remain responsible for our own instructions to processors as required by law.

We may update this Policy when the Service, law, or our processing changes. We will revise the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice for material changes where required. We will not use information for a materially incompatible new purpose without appropriate notice or consent.

This Policy is administered by FlowMind Technology Inc under the laws applicable to it at its place of incorporation, together with any mandatory privacy and consumer-protection laws that apply to you. Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
